Teaching Philosophy
My pedagogical passion is to foster a positive atmosphere of learning that is as encouraging as it is challenging. I lead dancers to investigate how they learn uniquely so that they appreciate their own value to a dancing world. My classes invite curious questions and collaborative investigations. I implement teaching methods to equip students with skills for executing technical movement safely. I love to see dancers applying dance concepts to serve their own artistry. In the classroom, I consider myself a conduit of knowledge, equipping students with dance materials to craft their own dance knowledge.
